Saša Stevanović, Executive director for investment operations
Saša Stevanović was born in 1980 in Vukovar, Croatia. He completed elementary and high school in Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska. He graduated and finished master degree at the University of East Sarajevo - Faculty of Economics Pale, where also complemented Ph.D. studies and dissertation in 2018. He worked as a broker, risk analyst and investment advisor. He posses experience in implementing and participating in a number of projects on topics of introduction of credit scoring, internal rating, system control and credit and operational risks management, application of SAS and R programming languages in finance industry and Big Data environment; and was involved in activities of business acquisitions and recapitalizations of companies in the capital market of the Republic of Srpska. Mr. Stevanović served as a President of the Business Association of authorized participants in capital market of the Republic of Srpska in 2009-2010 period. He posses FRM - Financial Risk Manager certificate provided by GARP in 2015, and is licensed as broker (2005), investment advisor (2007-) and investment manager (2007-) by Republic of Srpska Securities Commission. He is the author of the book “Managing Risk in Domestic Institutional Investors Portfolio” and founder of “The Risk Center”. He published a number of articles and scientific papers on capital markets and risk management process in domestic and international magazines and conferences.
His duties as Executive director for investment operations in Management Company of Pension Reserve Fund of Republic of Srpska started as of 1st of January 2011, and from September 2nd 2015 started a second mandate. After public competition in August 2020, he started the new mandate. From July 2017 The Republic of Srpska National Assembly appointed Mr Stevanovic as The Republic of Srpska Fiscal Council Board Member.
His duties as Chief Executive Officer started as of 1st of January 2024.
He is married and is the father of two children. He lives in Banjaluka.
