Saša Stevanović, Executive Director for Investment Affairs
He was born in 1980. in Vukovar, Republic of Croatia. He completed elementary and secondary school in Bijeljina. He graduated, received his master’s degree and defended his doctoral thesis at the University of East Sarajevo – Faculty of Economics in Pale.
He worked as a broker, risk analyst, and investment advisor.
Implemented and participated in a number of projects on the introduction of credit scoring, internal rating, control and management systems for credit, market and operational risks, application of SAS and R programming languages in finance and Big Data environment, takeovers and recapitalizations of companies on the capital market of the Republic of Srpska. He served as President of the Business Association of Authorized Participants in the Capital Market of the Republic of Srpska (2009 – 2010). He holds a GARP certificate; FRM – Financial Risk Manager (2015), a license from the Securities Commission of the Republic of Srpska to perform the following duties: broker (2005), investment advisor (2007) and investment manager (2007). Author of the book: “Portfolio Risk Management of Domestic Institutional Investors”. Founder of the “Risk Center” Association. A large number of published articles and scientific and professional papers on the topic of capital markets and risk management in domestic and international journals and conferences.
He assumed the position of Executive Director for Investment Affairs of the Pension Reserve Fund Management Company on 01.01.2011. while on 02.09.2015. a five-year term has been renewed. He was appointed to a third term after a public competition in August 2020. (Official Gazette No. 86/20). Since July 2017, the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska appointed MA Stevanović as a member of the Fiscal Council of the Republika Srpska.
His duties as Chief Executive Officer started as of 1st of January 2024.
Married, father of two children, lives in Banja Luka.
